In a heartwarming show of community support and youth leadership, the Ewu-Urhobo Youth Association has donated essential school materials to children in the Okuama community ahead of the 2025–2026 academic session. The donation, which took place on Wednesday, is part of the association’s ongoing commitment to promoting education and empowering young learners in rural communities.

Speaking during the presentation, the President of the Ewu-Urhobo Youth Association, Comrade Emmanuel Ereduke, explained that the initiative was designed to encourage children to return to school and ensure they are adequately equipped for learning. He further noted that the gesture aligns with the efforts of the Chairman of Ughelli South Local Government, Dr. Loki Arere, in creating an enabling environment for education to thrive.

This thoughtful intervention is expected to ease the burden on families while inspiring the children of Okuama to pursue their education with renewed hope and confidence.
