In a bold move to strengthen secondary school education in Barigolo Federated Communities, located in the Ohene sub-local government area, the Barigolo Progressive Union (BPU) has launched a ₦10 million education project for Barigolo Secondary School.

The unveiling ceremony, which took place at the school premises, marked a significant step toward transforming the educational landscape of the community. Speaking at the event, the Chairman of Barigolo Progressive Union and legal practitioner, Mr. Jewel Awe, emphasized that the project was designed to encourage quality secondary education and drive overall development across the federated communities.

Mr. Awe noted that the initiative reflects the Union’s commitment to creating better learning environments, empowering young people, and laying a strong foundation for future leaders. The project is expected to provide much-needed infrastructural support and academic resources that will positively impact both students and teachers.
