The Great Ancient Ewu-Urhobo Kingdom, under the reign of His Majesty, Clement Oghenerukevwe Ikolo, Urhukpe I, deeply mourns the passing of our illustrious son and brother, Olorogun Oskar Ibru.
This loss strikes me not only as the King of Ewu-Urhobo Kingdom but also on a very personal level. Olorogun Oskar Ibru was a dear friend whom I held in the highest regard. His wisdom, generosity, and unwavering love for the Urhobo people were qualities that bound us together in mutual respect and brotherhood. His passing is a heavy blow, leaving a void that will be felt across the Urhobo Nation and Nigeria at large.
He was a man of vision, enterprise, and service whose contributions will remain forever etched in history. While we grieve, we also celebrate a life of impact, leadership, and uncommon grace.
May Almighty God grant his noble soul eternal rest, and may He comfort the Ibru family and all who mourn this great loss.
Farewell, Great Son of Urhobo. Farewell, my friend.
Issued on behalf of the King by:
Chief Henry Abizor
Orugba of Ancient Ewu-Urhobo Kingdom
